bgupta My take on Gox news, is that gox was a grey currency market for USD -> BTC. Predicting as a result of DHS trying to stop currency conversion, that the market will bifurcate, into regulated exchanges and balck exchange. My sense if history is anything to go on, that prices will be better on black exchanges.. and will eventually make up much of the volume. [00:41]

Chaaang-Noi not a bad way to go if you ask me [15:29]
mircea_popescu dunno why someone young would smoke it. [15:29]
mircea_popescu certainly, not a bad way at all. but to go not to stay. [15:29]
Chaaang-Noi iv not smoked since then, i like to do it once every 6 months or so if i can [15:29]
mircea_popescu i don't like doing things half way. [15:30]
Chaaang-Noi well, okay, i hear you have to take more and more to get the same effect if you use it often, so people get addicted [15:30]
ezdiy i thought your national drug of choice is ya ba, goat [15:30]
Chaaang-Noi im more than fine doing it "half way" as my goal was to have a good time, not sleep forevar [15:31]
Chaaang-Noi ya, iv never done, and never will do ya ba or anything meth related [15:31]
ezdiy well, its a quicker way to die [15:31]

mircea_popescu ezdiy that's homemade [15:33]

Chaaang-Noi the thais find it funny to see westerners use weed and opium, and pay the prices they do, and since they dont do harm, they let it slide and take a pay off from the bar managers [15:36]
