The Nice Guys

Friday, 30 September, Year 8 d.Tr. | Author: Mircea Popescu

The Nice Guysi is an ideologically correctii exercise in surrealism for cause of incompetence.

It's hard to sort these in order, but it would seem to me the most incompetent are the female actresses. None of them can read.

The script is also terribad. Fifth-best in the screenplay writing class at the local community college in a rural locale sort of bad.

Russel Crowe speaks throughout in this Bogart-wannabe voice, which is almost as good as if he could act.

I watched this (unjustifiably lengthy) thing over three installments, because it kept putting me to sleep. I heartily recommend it for this purpose.

PS. Nothing substantial has changed in the intellectual space of the ideologically-correct USGistan productions. Sex is still this scary thing, the police is still this angels-on-earth deux ex machina mechanism, vote Reagan to make america great again.
