jurov CheckDavid: yes it is possible and there are assets listed on both BTCTC/Bitfunder. [01:20]
CheckDavid I noticed there are assets listen simultaneously on Mpex and BTCTC [01:20]
jurov But you have to do transfers/arbitration yourself. [01:20]
CheckDavid Didn't notice about bitfunder [01:21]
CheckDavid But I wonder how does it work out. [01:21]
CheckDavid How would transfer workout? [01:21]
jurov in case of mpex it's passthroughs and they are bit different thing [01:21]
assbot [BTCTC] [COGNITIVE] 1 @ 0.220015 BTC [-] [01:21]
CheckDavid So, let's say I issue 1,000 share [01:21]

CheckDavid But I must do it in a way that they do not sum, therefore not totalling 2,000 shares. [01:22]

assbot [BTCTC] [COGNITIVE] 10 @ 0.210502 = 2.105 BTC [-] [01:22]
jurov that would earn you scanmmer tag, you can't sell same shares twice [01:22]
CheckDavid Then how do I do it? [01:22]
CheckDavid how do I list my offer at the excahnges? [01:23]
jurov you can sell 500/500 on both places [01:23]
CheckDavid That would be a bit pointless. [01:23]
jurov maybe. but that's how it works. [01:23]

assbot [HAVELOCK] [ASICM] 1 @ 0.0411 BTC [-] [01:26]

assbot [BTCTC] [AMC-PT] 700 @ 0.0025 = 1.75 BTC [+] [01:28]

matthew_boyd This is my reasoning: Some Bitcoin is a limited number, therefore making them rare. Rare things usually gain value over time, right? So that is a small number / limited number. So are shares, so if you have say ASIC shares, that you bought with Bitcoins, you are multipling a limited number by a limited number, which makes a smaller number (percentage wise) if you get my drift [02:29]
matthew_boyd thus making it rarer and ultimately more valuable [02:29]

Namworld I disagree with the getting to know the other part... It's just that by doing so, your aim shouldn't be to know the other party or act upon any stories he makes up, which is irrelevant to the transaction. [20:00]
Namworld Your aim is to discern signs that the person is a scammer. Even if you don't find anything doesn't guarantee the person isn't/ [20:01]
