The story of a smell.

Wednesday, 28 August, Year 5 d.Tr. | Author: Mircea Popescu

M and P, eating variously arranged ice creams, gloriously alone on a downtown terrace.

P: Hey, what does my hand smell like?

M: (smells) I don't know, little girls?

P: Little girls?

M: Yeah, like a girl of nine.

P: What do you mean, a girl of nine? That precise?! What does a ten year old girl smell like?

M: I mean little girls generally, as opposed to one of fourteen, or three. The smell of girls of the general age. Why, what do you think it smells like?

P: Balls.

True story.
