S.MPOE market cap vs S.DICE market cap

Monday, 25 March, Year 5 d.Tr. | Author: Mircea Popescu

Here's a graph of S.DICE total market capitalisation based on daily average trade price calculated as the ratio between total BTC exchanged and total shares exchanged in a 24 hour interval expressed as a fraction of S.MPOE total market capitalisation calculated the same way. The little holes are days when S.DICE had no trades and thus no price.

Predictably the graph starts at zero sometime before September 1st, 2012 (S.DICE started trading late August) and dances mostly between 20% and 80%. There's a constant if slow climb all through the end of last year, then a steep drop which abruptly ends, turning into a steep climb early February.

I have no idea why I wanted this graph made, but here it is. Now tell me what it means!

It's a mostly worthless graph that lets you play the fun game of matching up historical trends.
