Simple story : dumbass goes into movie theater looking for his girlfriend. He doesn't find her, so he pulls a gun and starts firing at people. Off duty police officer working as security (a woman) blows his brains out. End of story. No casualties, one wounded. 1200 News Radio WOAI has the story.
Why does CNN not have the story ? Why does the New York Times not have this story ?
Because they're busy with a different one : the story of some idiot walking with a gun into a no-gun zone, where predictably nobody else had a gun and killing twenty people or so. And what do they make of it ? Oh, well, the usual crap. That there should be more no-gun zones, because nobody having a gun gets people killed and so the solution would be to have fewer armed people and more places where the assailant is guaranteed a good old rampage free of any risk or danger.
Other tidbits that are too juicy to air would be for instance the observation that shootouts are not in fact on the rise, and that the peak was in 1929. You know, the start of the Big Crisis, which isn't starting these days because socialist idiots (or are they calling themselves Keynesians now ?) are averting it by means of ruining the currency. What, isn't this how you avert a crisis, by destroying price formation ? What, isn't nationalisation the means to "ensure" prosperity ? Awww!
Or for another instance the observation that the very same day some idiot shot up a no-gun place filled with no-gun sheeple, some other idiot butchered an entire school in China. Using a knife. You know, those people can't afford guns, so they enjoy gun control by default. The same twenty-something kids get killed, the same day. Gun controls work!
As long as you live in Soviet America the answer to this and any other question regarding you going to jail is yes. Yes, you can go to jail at any time for any reason. Because you are not free people over there, you're already in jail. Simply moving cell blocks is a purely administrative matter, and it is for this reason right that it should be handled by the administration.
Just make sure you don't have any guns, cause guns are bad mmkay ? Keep on believing what they pour out of the TV set and gobbling down what they dump in the foodstamp through, you'll be jus' fine.

What's your exact stance on gun possession, or why do people need guns?
I mean we live in this high-tech world with jobs where you need some faculties, need to write, express, have knowledge, do something, you get some money for it, with money you buy resources.
Guns are brute force and using brute force in an intelectualized world just doesn't make sense because you deliberately avoid your failure in this system by.. 'cheating', making others fail by using a mean which shouldn't supposed to be used in first place.
Sure you have sort of an advantage over any enemy but you take shortcuts in life and for how much will it go.
Sho lemme pop tha gun and hand ova da chicken bucket needs to be put somesort of end, we could do that by wearing guns too, but why da nigga pulls the gun anyway? Inb4 tv?

First: it is not about guns.
It is specifically about semi-automatic weapons and high capacity magazines.
Second : physical violence without firearms require physical abilities. That tends to statistically limit the edge an attacker may have over any given group. Semi-automatic weapons with high capacity magazines leverage the power of the assailant only.
Third: Statistically speaking the availability of a type of weapon will influence the frequency of it's use in crimes.
