I want to adjust the Trilema blog subtitle (items appearing on the right, right above the navigation tablet) such that the lines are alligned ~on the bottom~. 

There is apparently NO WAY (and in any case no canonical way) to do this ; the only reliable approach appears to be declaring the item a table (rather than a div) ; other than this there's five to ten NOT WORKING cvasi-solutions allowing the symbolic picking of meaningless camps (and, of course, the usual "a raging debate on the topic"). In other words, the two reliable byproducts of beings-an-engineer moroninc involvement in technology : &lt;em&gt;frantic activity&lt;/em&gt;, as a cover for &lt;em&gt;impotence&lt;/em&gt;.
