Pai cind cineva iti posteaza o traducere masina la un text poate fi din cauza ca incearca sa traduca pasajul respectiv si aia-i tot ce-o reusit pina acum. Ma rog, cel putin eu asa as face. Ca atare e o curtoazie sa-i dai o traducere buna, mai ales daca-i textul tau.

You know that silly habit of translating movie titles ? [ridiculous sounding actual title translations, see Wolseyism on the subject] We shall talk today of Horsefeathers, a movie from 1932 directed by Norman McLeod with Thelma Todd and David Landau as garnish alongside the Marx Brothers (Groucho, Harpo, Chico undt Zeppo, credited in this order on the original credits and not as imbd lists them).

What about it ? Well, first of all, let's say that it isn't, in any way, a comedy. It was, initially, all the Marx Brothers movies were, at the time. Even [untranslatable notion, old style very masquerade-y sort of comic show], we could say, in the style of things R Atkinson and Jim Carrey do today. In fact, Benny Hill was a sort of continuator till the end of last millenia (and Tanase [local celebrity of the 30s and 40s vaudeville scene] a sort of imitator, in parts, if we're to be honest).
